Each year more than 50,000 American women lovingly choose an adoptive home for their baby. This decision is often made by women who first thought abortion was their only way out. Making an adoption plan is very difficult but it can be a loving, healthy choice for the birth mother, her baby and an adoptive family that has much love to offer a child.

If you have not considering this option yet, please take the time to learn about it.  Read stories from other birth mothers who have walked down this path.  Contact us today to talk about your feelings and concerns.

Types of Adoption Vary

You have many choices for an adoption agency and type of adoption. You can read many profiles about families wanting to adopt and select the family you want. In addition, you can decide what type of relationship you want to have with the adoptive family, if any, and communicate that in the beginning.

Some birth mothers even receive some financial support during the pregnancy for living expenses, such as rent, gas, and food. (Though laws vary by state.)  Learn as much as you can about your choices with making an adoption plan.

For more adoption information, contact us to talk with someone who cares and can support you in this decision. Or you can obtain more information from any adoption agency, including these listed below.  (We do not work directly with these agencies listed but can refer you several in the Northern VA area.)
